Hey guys! As we are smack dab in the middle of the summer, one of my favorite looks is a monochromatic outfit. If you don’t know, monochromatic means all one color! I have three tricks to make a monochromatic look really pop.
Hey Ladies! Edward and I celebrated out two year anniversary and our proposal-versary (yes, it’s a thing… I made it a thing) this week! So to celebrate we had a fun date night downtown. It is crazy to think Edward and I have only been together two short years because it feels much longer. In a good way, I mean. It feels like I have known him for years. From the day we started dating it felt like we had been best friends for quite a while. So it was so fun to reminisce about the last two years we have had together, to think how much has changed in the last two years and to talk about all the fun we have in front of us.
Edward and I spent this past weekend in San Diego with friends and family celebrating our first wedding shower! A good friend of the family threw a beautiful party for us in her backyard. It was a couples shower so it was so much fun having guys and girls all there to celebrate with us. It was a brunch so she cooked an assortment of delicious quiches and other yummy brunch must haves. My favorite holiday is almost here! The 4th of July is seriously the best! I wait all year long for some sun, games, drinks, hot dogs, and of course some red, white and blue! Since moving to the midwest, the words “4th of July” have a whole new meaning and I can’t get enough of it! I’m not gonna lie, I plan my outfit for the 4th at least a month in advanced. I love tying these three colors together in different and creative ways. And lets me honest, even if I didn’t care, its so easy to throw a pop of red into a blue and white outfit and voila!
