I don’t know about you but I can not believe it is 2018! My fiancé and I spent the holidays with family and friends in California. We spent Christmas in Manhattan Beach with family and then New Years in San Diego with friends! Even though we had so much fun and I love SD, it snowed on Christmas back in Fort Wayne and I couldn’t help but wish I was there for my first white Christmas. But on the plus side Edward got to have his first California Christmas and tried surfing for the first time! Even though I wasn’t in the cold I was dreaming of blankets of snow and staying warm in the cold weather… am I wierd?
When we left Indiana before Christmas it was around 25 degrees and I was handling it great! I have found that although it is cold outside as long as you are prepared and dressed properly its totally doable. Now that we are back in Fort Wayne, the weather has dropped significantly. So I thought I would show you another look where I am learning how to look cute while staying warm! I am having so much fun wearing coats and boots and so many fun accessories that if I wore them in San Diego… people would laugh!

I have so much to look forward to this year. I am continuing to dedicate time to my blog. I want to continue growing and producing fun and creative content that I hope you all enjoy. My goal for the blog other than growing is to be better about planning my content. I don’t want to get to a point where I run out of ideas or its 9am on a Tuesday (when I normally would be posting something) and I’ve got nothing. Which then leads me to break the two blog posts a week schedule I have promised myself or just posting bad content that I don’t really love. If I have at least a week or two planned out in advanced hopefully this won’t happen.
Also this year we are going on some great vacations! We are headed to Mexico in March for Spring Break and most importantly… We are getting married in September! We have so much ahead with planning the wedding, walking down the aisle and going on a honeymoon! My hope is that you all will be right there with me through it all. Keep following me and reading to see it all!
I hope that you all enjoyed your holidays and have a wonderful 2018!
